2024 Trailer Race Rules:
**NEW FOR FALL TRAILER RACE of 2024**
>NO CAMPING TRAILERS!
>POP-UP TENT TRAILERS NOT ALLOWED!
>NO USED TIRES ALLOWED INSIDE BOATS OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT YOU HAVE ON YOUR TRAILER. IT IS OK TO DECORATE/ADORN YOUR TRAILERS BUT PLEASE JUST DON'T FILL IT WITH JUNK OR GARBAGE (AS WE HAVE TO CLEAN IT ALL UP ON THE TRACK AFTER THE RACE.)
Here are the previously posted rules:
Full face helmet and long sleeve shirts and pants are required.
Shoulder and lap belts required, racing harness is recommended.
Airbags must be removed.
No alcohol allowed. Minimum of 2 tires (no small tires, must be size for trailer, 13-16") campers with smaller tires are allowed to run original size tires.
All loose items and appliances must be removed from inside of campers, no engines, fuel tanks, or out drives on boats.
Boats must be strapped to trailers. All glass must be removed from trailers. Tongue must be attached to vehicle and it may be altered to help keep attached, safety chains may be welded to hitch.no equalizer bars allowed.
Front bumper of tow vehicle may be modified to a maximum of 2 tubing and maximum of 16 inches tall and no wider than the body of the tow vehicle. Minimum 14 ft maximum 20 ft trailers, pop up camper trailers my be shorter.
NO OBSCENE LETTERING ALLOWED (this is a family environment) Mascots, vehicle decoration, cartoons, advertisements, etc are encouraged.
All trailers will be inspected prior to race. Any trailer found to be in violation will not be allowed to race until violation has been fixed up to race time.
Object of race is to finish with your trailer still attached while separating the trailer of your competitors from their tow vehicle.
If you lose your trailer during the race your not eligible to win but you may continue to race. No tow vehicle to tow vehicle hits. Must hit trailer of competitors.
Anyone that does not stay Active hitting and trying to knock the other guys trailers off will be disqualified, judges will have the final decision within five minutes after the race.
Any entries that loses the boat or trailer before the green flag waves will be disqualified anyone exiting the race car under green flag conditions will be disqualified and prohibited from running in future trailer races at Ksp. First vehicle to finish with eligible trailer or last vehicle with eligible trailer attached wins.
Any entry that submits a photo of their trailer 2 weeks prior via text message or Facebook will have their entry fee waived Ksp has a few boats and trailers for use they may need a little work like putting a tire or hitch on them. first come first serve basis
